That’s Not Human! | The Pale Crawler Files

Carol Ann weighs the video and audio evidence for pale crawlers: the 2021 Pender County 911 recording the sheriff’s office confirmed, a 2018 moose video from Quebec with a pale figure near the tree line, and 2007 security footage from Fresno that people are still arguing about. Along the way, a teenager’s encounter near Lake Superior and a miner in the Northwest Territories who went hunting for the thing that chased his truck. Then she takes on the biggest argument against crawlers: the Rake, created on 4chan in 2005. With research showing nearly half of 200+ sightings are dated before it, and folklore from the wendigo to Japan’s jikininki and Iran’s Gaje Shahri, the real question is whether the internet invented this creature or just gave it a name.
